Transport current effects on Bi2212 superconducting transition
Abstract
The effects of transport current to the superconducting transition of Bi2212 are established. With increasing current, the Tc shifts to lower temperature, while the transition broadens as manifested by the development of a low temperature tail-like feature. The shift and the broadening are determined by the intergranular and intragranular critical currents characteristic to the sample.
