Magnetic susceptibility of high temperature superconductors using the Matsubara formalism

Abstract

Using the finite temperature (Matsubara) formalism, the magnetic spin susceptibility of high temperature superconductors is calculated. The magnetization operator is expressed in terms of the creation and annihilation of holons and spin waves in the usual sense of spin-charge separation theory.
