Confined time of arrival operator (TAO) for the (0,l) segment

Abstract

In this paper we investigate the Confined Time of Arrival operator (TAO) for the (0,l) segment. We derive the kernel Tγ(q,q') for non-periodic condition, calculate the commutator and its domain for the non-periodic case, and show that the Hamiltonian operator Hγ and non-periodic confined TOA operator Tγ are canonically conjugate. We also included the investigation of the symmetry of this TOA operator.
