Synthesis and characterization of YBa2Cu3O7–δ single crystals
Abstract
We have successfully grown YBCO (123) single crystals via the self-flux method. Surface morphological studies reveal that the crystal formation was via step growth, dendritic growth and hillock formation. X-ray diffraction was utilized to confirm the YBCO (123) crystal structure.
