Dual tone multi-frequency–based instrument interface for remote access and control

Abstract

A Dual Tone Multi-Frequency (DTMF) instrument interface was developed and tested. The study showed that the DTMF instrument interface could access the data acquisition and control system to be used for monitoring temperature, volcanic activity and gas emissions in the Mt. Makiling area with a high degree of reliability.
