The urban air environment of Metro Manila: A rationale for laser remote sensing

Abstract

As a rationale for introducing the new technology of laser remote sensing, this paper describesthe existing atmospheric conditions of the metropolis and assesses its environmental monitoring capability. The details of a program for the laser radar monitoring of Metro Manila are presented.
