Abstract

A generalized Ginzburg-Landau (GL) theory of superconductivity is formulated multiple order parameters. The imposition of with local gauge invariance constrains the parameters of the model. Analysis of the fluctuations using the Ginzburg criterion suggests that this model has relevance to the high Tc ceramic superconductors.
