Spectrometer data acquisition system for pulsed sources

Abstract

The Microprocessor Controlled Spectrometer for UV-Visible spectroscopy developed at the National Institute of Physics has been modified to accommodate pulsed and time varying light sources. The emission spectra of a mercury lamp and a neon stroboscope are presented to demonstrate the system performance.
