A new formulation of lattice fermions based on stochastic quantization

Abstract

Chiral covariant lattice fermions are defined through a Langevin equation in the stochastic quantization scheme. It is shown that the species doubling does not occur at least in the tree field theory. It is also shown that an equivalent path-integral formulation does not exist.
