Monte Carlo simulations at MSU–IIT
Abstract
Decays of the heavy quarks are simulated in the spectator approximation. The cos θ, momentum and energy distributions of the decay products of the mesons containing the charm, bottom and top quarks are generated and compared when the parent quark decays at rest and when it has an initial kinetic energy.
