On SU(1,1) representations on noncompact bases and the path integral in polar coordinates

Abstract

SU(1,1) unitary irreducible representations on a continuous basis where a noncompact generator is diagonal are used in a new derivation of Feynman's path integral in n-dimensional spherical polar coordinates.
