Influence of frustration on compensation point in disordered ferrimagnets
Abstract
The influence of frustration on the compensation point Tk of disordered Ising ferrimagnets is investigated in framework of the extended infinite-range-random model of Sherrington and Kirkpatrick. It is shown that frustration can not only decrease Tk but also increase it for certain parameters of the model. The possibility of increasing Tk due to frustration may be important for technological application.
