Tunneling through rectangular double barrier potential systems in quantum mechanics with minimal length uncertainty
Abstract
We calculate the probability for a particle to tunnel through rectangular double barrier potential systems in quantum mechanics that phenomenologically includes the existence of a minimal observable length through the generalized uncertainty principle (GUP). We observe a positive shift in the resonant energies and lower transmission probability for lower incident particle energies.
