Abstract

The dynamics of a self-avoiding random coil is described to be viscoelastic using fractional calculus. Numerical simulation of an 8-particle system is based on the protein polymer contryphan. Different fractional-order of the derivative resulted in different behavior of the Hamiltonian and entropy.
