Human traffic during MRT evacuation

Abstract

A platform for simulating crowd dynamics in Singapore’s MRT stations was developed. It is able to perform simulations on various station layouts, but the main focus is Boon Lay station. The intention is to design a station layout that minimizes the evacuation time for an emergency situation.
