Emergency evacuation in MRT platforms

Abstract

A platform for simulating crowd dynamics in Metro Manila's MRT stations was developed. It is able to perform simulations on various station layouts, but the main focus is North Avenue station. The intention is to assess the safety of the station for varying number of train passengers.
