Construction and characterization of a tipping bucket rain gauge automated by an Arduino microcontroller board
Abstract
An improvised tipping bucket rain gauge was constructed and automated using an Arduino with GSM shield and its data was disseminated through internet using GPRS mobile data standard. The time series plot of the observed data and reference data from PAGASA was shown to be similar.
