Effect of substrate heat treatment on femtosecond pulsed laser deposited Nd:YAG films
Abstract
We investigated the heat treatment dependence of the particle's average cross section area and height produced by femtosecond pulsed laser deposition of Nd:YAG target. In-situ substrate heat treatment and post deposition substrate heat treatment were considered in the investigation. We found that the particle sizes are dependent on the substrate heat treatment employed and are consequence of the Gibbs free energy of the deposited particles.
