Goos-Hänchen and Imbert-Federov shifts induced by silver, gold and copper

Abstract

We present numerical simulations of the Goos-Hänchen (GH) and Imbert-Federov (IF) shifts for bulk silver, gold and copper. We follow Aiello's derived equations to calculate the shifts. Our results show that GH and IF shifts can be used to classify and identify unknown metals.
