Abstract

We demonstrate motionless Bessel beam scanning using an optical setup with a spatial light modulator. The Bessel beam was generated by encoding a conical phase in the SLM. Transverse and axial translations of the beam were performed adding a grating phase and a chirp phase, respectively. It was verified in the simulations that the beam profile is not affected by the translation.
