Time of arrival of free relativistic particles
Abstract
We interpret the time of arrival (TOA) probability distributions for a free relativistic particle as derived from the one-particle TOA operator constructed in [1,2]. This is done by comparisons with the predictions in the non-relativistic quantum regime, and with their classical counterparts. The TOA probability distribution for a massless particle was also compared with those for a particle with mass.
