Characterization of the Kuramoto model using information theoretic techniques
Abstract
We characterize networks of coupled oscillators based on the Kuramoto Model using techniques from information theory. Using mutual information and Pearson’s coefficient, we measured the correlation between the oscillators coupled in various network layouts. We found that the correlation plots reflected the structure of the oscillator network.
