Experimental observation of the effect of imaging resolution on the apparent diffusion coefficient and mean free path of a Brownian particle
Abstract
We report on the use of imaging systems that have imaging resolutions, both spatially and temporally, that are lower than conventional systems for measuring the diffusion coefficient and mean free path of Brownian particles. This enables the measurement of these parameters with relatively cheaper imaging devices.
