Abstract

Low doping values 0 < x ≤ 0.15 in Y(Ba2-x ,Mnx)Cu3O7-δ samples showdouble superconducting transitions both in their complex AC magnetic susceptibility and resistance versus temperature measurements. XRD spectra reveals the occurrence of trace minority phases in the sample that includes YBa2Cu4O8 (Y-124) peaks. Formation of oxygen-deficient structures and CuO out-growths leading to lower Tc- phases is attributed to inhomogeneous oxygen distribution in the doped samples.
