Abstract

The study aims to determine the effect of deleting sets of sub-networks of semantic words using WordNet database with different number of nodes to the readability and comprehensibility of a text. It was found that the comprehensibility of a text slightly decreases with the deletion of semantically related words. As the number of nodes increases in the set of sub-networks, the comprehensibility of the article slightly decreases. As for the readability, there were no relation found with the node deletion using the Flesch Reading Ease test.
