Abstract

We create semantic networks for the official translations of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the first chapter of Genesis using the available WordNet data for English, Finnish and Bahasa Indonesia languages. We plot the frequency of subnetworks with the same node count for each language. The results show that Finnish and English are structurally more similar compared to Bahasa Indonesia based on the synset networks generated for each translation.
