Abstract

The classical solution to the Toroidal Aharonov-Bohm effect is presented in this paper. Boyer’s framework on the Solenoid AB effect is adapted to explain the Toroidal AB effect. The relative phase shift is exactly the same as the phase shift calculated quantum mechanically by Aharonov and Bohm and classically by Boyer in the Solenoid experiment. The no velocity change and the classical lag points of view of Boyer are both considered in the calculations and explanations for the Toroidal AB effect.
