Abstract

We study the possible hadronic molecular structure of one of the pentaquark signals observed by LHCb. Using the deuteron as an example, we model the bound state of Σc+D̅⁰ to have a D-wave component. The projection to a specific partial wave is carried out using a separable potential model. In order to produce a possible bound state in the D-partial wave, we calculated analytically the critical coupling strength such that the amplitude will produce threshold poles. From the critical coupling, one can adjust the strength and produce a D-wave bound state. The pole locations and the resulting scattering structures are also discussed.
