Origin of neutrino masses in the triplet extension of supersymmetry
Abstract
We have considered the triplet extension of the supersymmetric standard model to determine the origin of smallness of neutrino masses and how the various parameters in this model affect the mass. A neutrino mass expression was derived and it is consistent with the MSSM limit as the triplet mass (MT) approaches to infinity and the triplet coupling parameter (λ) approaches to zero. Furthermore, we found out that there is a neutrino mass suppression that depends on the MT and λ, which must be fine-tuned with respect to observed masses of neutrinos.
