Abstract

In conventional ordered-propagation phase retrieval, the stagnation problem arising from low intensity variation results in reconstruction error. A recent method based on unordered propagation algorithm partially alleviates this problem, but still fails when few intensity measurements are used. In this study, the object area of support constraint is introduced for the first time to the unordered propagation algorithm. Convergence is faster by a factor of 5.4 and 9.7, respectively, for simulated and experimental wavefronts used.
