Abstract

The contour integral representation of the finite part was generalized for the case of pole (ν = 0) and branch point (ν ≠ 0) singularity by considering an arbitrarily oriented contour of intregration. The generalized representation also satisfies the term by term integration of a Stieltjes integral.
