Abstract

Recent measurements on the search for direct CP violation in Λbâ° and Ξbâ° baryons using the data recorded by the LHCb experiment during the 2011 and 2012 data taking periods are presented. In particular, a search for CP violation in charmless fully-charged four-body decays of Λbâ° and Ξbâ° baryons with a proton in the final state and three mesons, either as pions or kaons, is performed. The difference between the CP asymmetries in the charmless decay and in a decay with an intermediate charmed resonance with the same unpaired track in the final state is performed to cancel out charge-detection and production asymmetries. Six CP asymmetries are considered using the full phase-space of the decays. No significant CP-violation effect is observed in all the measurements.
