Object boundary detection using speckle-based phase retrieval
Abstract
Speckle-based phase retrieval is used to reconstruct a complex object field. Phase map at glass-oil on glass boundaries is analyzed using standard deviation around a pixel neighborhood. The difference between the extrema of the standard deviation values is observed for planes that are axially separated within one wavelength and, from thresholding, the boundary between the two media is imaged.
