Associated production of pseudoscalar higgs and Z bosons in proton-antiproton collisions
Abstract
The production of CP-odd neutral Higgs boson (A0) in association with a Z boson in proton-antiproton collision is investigated within the framework of the minimal supersymmetric extension of the standard model (MSSM). Prediction on its cross-section is calculated under the experimental condition of the Fermilab Tevatron Run II. To lowest order in perturbation theory, the contributing partonic cross sections include tree-level quark-antiquark annihilation and one loop gluon-gluon fusion, which proceeds via quark and squark loops. Under a scenario where the MSSM is embedded in a grand unified theory (GUT) involving supergravity (SUGRA), the quark-antiquark annihilation will dominate at large to moderate (small) values of tanß.
