Translation preserves network structure in written text
Abstract
Different parameters and parameter trends are computed from co-locational networks constructed from different English and non-English translations of the Bible. It was observed that betweenness centrality (BC) and k-nearest-neighbor (Knn) trends are invariant through translations even for different languages. This implies that the network structure of text is preserved through translations even to different languages.
