Abstract

Perchloric-doped Polyanisidine prepared using oxidative polymerization were successfully fabricated into films with Polyvinyl Acetate as binder. Five mass ratios of PAnis and PVA were prepared namely: 1:1, 1:2, 1:3, 1:4 and 1:5. Films were drawn from all these ratios. For the the mass ratios of 1:0.5 however, no film was drawn for the PVA was not sufficient to bind the samples. All films were determined to be ohmic materials as shown by the linear I-V graphs made. The conductivity of the films decreased as the PVA concentration was increased.
