Exploring secondary students conceptual understanding on direct current resistive electrical circuits
Abstract
The great majority of secondary students have different views of how real circuits and schematics diagrams function. To apply this concept with direct current and battery had often shown students different views to commonly known concepts in electric circuits such as Ohm's Law, series-parallel connections, short circuits. This paper provides details of the students' DIRECT scores and how their conception of circuits and the role of the battery in a direct current circuit.
