Current trends in physics education
Abstract
This paper describes the annual meetings of the Metanexus Foundation on Science and Religion, the American Association of Physics Teachers, and the Physics Education Research Conference. Current physics teaching methods emphasize student activity and interaction. Some of the issues discussed are Just in Time Teaching, Peer Instruction, "clickers," physics education research, and plenary session speakers.
