Abstract

We investigate the propagation of new information within complex networks, and observe a transition to coordination (αc = 0.75 for regular, αc = 0.8 for small-world and random) among nodes in a network with the spread of a new message. The information propagation model is studied with respect to the following parameters: the tendency α to copy the information carried by a node's connections, the fraction γ of initial message propagators, network structure and network adaptiveness.
