Abstract

This paper will evaluate the magnetic property in terms of transition temperature of strontium doped lanthanum cuprate La2−xSrxCuO4−δ synthesized by solid state reaction sintered at 950°C at different doping concentration; x = 0, x = 0.06, x = 0.1 and x = 0.2. Susceptibility tests results showed remarkable magnetic signal at x = 0.1 and x = 0.2 with transition temperatures Tc = 27 K and Tc = 32 K respectively. At a higher frequency (800 Hz) LSCO x = 0.1 showed a higher Tc. Effects of varying magnetic intensity also showed higher Tc. The data fits with the simple nonvortex model of the granular superconductor.
