Time reversal symmetry breaking confined time of arrival operators
Abstract
We study the dynamics of a class of time symmetry breaking confined quantum time of arrival operators, and compare this class’s dynamics with the already established dynamics of the time symmetry preserving confined time of arrival operators. While the eigenfunctions of the former class of operators unitarily arrive at the origin at their respective eigenvalues, it is found that the eigenfunctions of the latter class of operators do not unitarily arrive at the origin at their eigenvalues.
