Abstract

We analyze the effects of a 1.12 mm, 0.92 mm, and 0.64 mm bore diameter capillary waveguides (CWG) on the conversion efficiency (e) of Raman lines in a 532nm Nd:YAG pumped H2 Raman shifter. e-input energy and e-pressure plots are presented for the three CWGs. The 0.64 mm bore has the highest peak e of 10.7% and 8.8% for both input energy and pressure variations, respectively.
