Discerning intergranular loss contribution to harmonic susceptibility features using samples with different intergranular loss peak positions
Abstract
To discern the contribution of intergranular losses on harmonic susceptibilty features, three YBCO samples characterized as having different intergranular loss peak positions (relative to their corresponding intragranular loss peaks) have been chosen. Careful inspection of the different susceptibility features provide clear insight on how to separate the intergranular from the intragranular features that superpose to create the features of harmonics for YBCO. This reveals that granularity plays an important role in the behavior of harmonics in the Meissner state.
