Abstract

The optical absorptivity of IC packages (Brand: Mitsubishi, m55L8042-162P 05101) was determined using the spectrophotometer. Water is added to the ground IC packages and centrifuged for few minutes. Then, the sample is subjected to UV-Vis spectroscopy. The process is repeated after a few minutes and then a change in the optical absorptivity of the same sample was observed. This suggests that concentration and time affects the optical absorbance of the sample.
