Abstract

Using magnetically enhanced terahertz (THz) radiation from InAs, various hydroxynaphthalenes (also referred to as naphthols) are studied. Hydroxy (-OH) substitution at different positions of the naphthalene compound are distinguished from the absorption of THz radiation and are found to be strongly related to the crystal structures/orientations and dipole moments of these isomers.
