Abstract

The relationship of temperature and depth in a mud pot was determined with the use of an LM35 precision centigrade temperature sensor. A probe was constructed and was used to determine temperature at three observation sites in Mudspring, Mount Makiling, Los Baños, Laguna. It was observed that the temperature of a mud pot linearly increased with depth. It was then concluded that the temperature of a mud pot satisfies a linear relationship for the depths measured.
