Abstract

Together the interface CoachLab II and software Coach 5 constitute a complete environment for microcomputer-based (MBL) experiments. The paper and the conference presentation will demonstrate possibilities of investigating physics concepts and phenomena using the Coach Lab II interface and Coach 5 software. The hardware and software have been developed at the Centre of Microcomputer Applications (CMA) of the University of Amsterdam. "Coach" is used at all secondary schools and in many colleges in the Netherlands, as well as at schools in various other European countries.
