1997−1998 Philippine Physics Olympiad

Abstract

The Philippine Physics Olympiad is a nationwide competition in physics among secondary students. Conducted every two years, the PPO is a major project of the SPP, sponsored by the Department of Science and Technology − Science Education Institute and the Department of Education, Culture and Sports. Now on its third year, two other sponsors, the Manila Electric Company and the Metrobank Foundation gave additional financial support. The entire 1997−1998 PPO Competition, from the divisional to the national stage, is reported in videotape.
