Abstract

This work introduces an alternative means of collecting, saving, and analyzing physical data using the Texas Instruments Calculator-Based Laboratory System (CBL). CBL programs provided by Texas Instruments are incorporated in three existing experiments comprising nine activities for the Physics Natural Science program of the Ateneo de Manila University. In particular, we consider two activities: (1) Vertical motion under gravity (free-fall) and (2) Hooke's Law to demonstrate the viability of the CBL systems as an alternative mode of data gathering and analysis.
