4Pi confocal fluorescence microscope with a phase conjugate mirror

Abstract

4Pi confocal fluorescence microscope which includes a phase conjugate mirror is described. The phase conjugate wave corrects spherical aberration and astigmatism automatically making the optics easier. Experimental verifications are shown.
